The truck show pays tribute to a local driver, David Schultz, that went tragically missing for months last November 2023. He was mysteriously found dead 5 months later 1.5 miles away in a nearby field that was already searched prior during the initial search. The show is also a tribute to all truckers that have passed away, the silent heroes of the highways, that kept our nation alive and supplied, as well as raise awareness to the dangers of what the career sometimes demands. At the time of David’s disappearance in 2023, he was one of over 23,000 cases of drivers who went missing. Some were found alive, some are found hurt, exploited, abused, some are still gone without a trace, and some…..make the ultimate sacrifice and we seek to bring them honor and bring meaning to David’s tragedy.
